IKLF BOLT Kettlebell Sport comes to India
Kolkata, May 27 (IBNS): Paving a fresh chapter for Kettlebell sport in India, CoreFit, a health & fitness start-up by Samrat Sen, introduced BOLT Kettlebell Lifting sport of the International Kettlebell Lifting Federation (IKLF) to India.
The BOLT competitions were hosted by nCore Fitness in Kolkata.
BOLT KB sport is a format where an athlete lifts for multiple events for 10mins per event to score the maximum number of repetitions and subsequent volume. During the lift, one can set the bell on the floor or even change hands multiple times to complete the set
This was a path breaking event with Kettlebell athletes experiencing an all new format of lifting which they finished with big numbers and impressive international ranks.
IKLF President Nico Rithner said " We at IKLF are excited to have India represented in BOLT Kettlebell Lifting Sport League by Samrat Sen’s strong group of athletes at CoreFit! They have deepened the field and raised the level of competition. We extend our congratulations on their strong results in the 2019 BOLT World Championship and look forward to lifting with them again in the next season!”
