Kane strikes twice as England beat Tunisia 2-1
Volgograd, June 19 (IBNS): English player Harry Kane scored twice as he helped his side defeat Tunisia by 2-1 in their World Cup opening match on Monday.
Kane gave the early lead to his side in the 11th minute of the game but that was soon leveled by Tunisia.
Ferjani Sassi converted a penalty make sure Tunisia level it 1-1 in the 35th minute.
It was in the 90+1 minute of the game, when Kane struck again as he headed home off a corner to give England 2-1 victory in the Group G match.
England players put up a spirited performance on Monday night.
England will now play Panam in the next match.
Panama were defeated by Beglium on the same day by 3-0 margin.
