Kathmandu: Bhutanese Judokas have won two gold, two silvers, and four bronze medals in the Nepal Confederation of Sports International Judo tournament, media reports said.

This year’s medal tally is a marked improvement from the 2018’s edition of the tournament, where Bhutan managed only two bronze medals, The Bhutan Live reported.

The Bhutanese team of Judokas who competed in the tournament consisted of two girls and 11 boys, aged between 11 and 18.

The players competed in the under-15, under-18, and under-21 categories.

In the under-15 category, Bhutan won two medals. 12-year-old, Tandin Dorji Wangmo, won silver in the female category. And 12-year-old, Jigme Yangsel Dorji, won bronze in the male category, the news portal reported.
