Bengaluru, Jun 15 (IBNS): Afghanistan bowled out India for 474 runs in the first innings of an one-off Test match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan (107) and Murali Vijay (105) remained the top scorers for India.

KL Rahul, who came out to bat at no.3, scored 54 runs off 64 balls.

Though Afghanistan came back strong to hurt the Indian middle order batting, Hardik Pandya's 71, Ravindra Jadeja's 20 and a rearguard by Umesh Yadav (26) helped the hosts to take the score closer to 500 runs.

Yamin Ahmadzai was the best bowler for Afghanistan, clinching three wickets for 51 runs in 19 overs.

Wafadar and Rashid Khan shared two wickets each.

Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked one wicket each.

The one-off Test match marked the beginning of Afghanistan's journey in the longest format of the sport.

This is the first time Afghanistan players are wearing their official white jerseys on field.
