Oval Test: England 243/2 at lunch on day 4, lead by 283 runs

London, Sept 10 (IBNS): Establishing a strong hold on the fifth and last Test match against India, England scored 243/2 in the second innings at lunch on day 4 at Kennington Oval here on Monday.

England extended their lead to 283 runs.

Alastair Cook, who is playing his last Test match, scored a hundred. He is still unbeaten at 103 runs.

Skipper Joe Root is aptly supporting Cook as the former scored an unbeaten 92-run innings.
