Kolkata/IBNS: Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli on Thursday said the Pink Ball Test match against Bangladesh will be a landmark occasion.

Addressing media ahead of the second Test here, Kohli said, "A lot of excitement is there. The last time such an excitement we have seen at Eden Gardens during the India-Pakistan match (in T20 World Cup)."

"The first one hour will be exciting as it won't be easy for batsmen to play the pink ball. There will be a boost for bowlers. So it will be a landmark occasion," he added.

As the match will be day/night, Kohli believes dew will be a factor.

"Dew is going to be a factor in India particularly in late last session," the Indian skipper said.

Kohli believes fielders will also have a tough job as he said, "Fielding session will be challenging as fielders don't know how fast the ball will come down."

The second Test will begin on Friday, India are ahead in the series 1-0.
