Virat Kohli breaks another record as skipper

Nagpur, Nov 26 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli broke another record during the ongoing second Test match against Sri Lanka.

Smashing 213 runs, Kohli became the topper in the  list of most centuries as captain in a calendar year.

With 19 centuries overall, Kohli hit his fourth century of the year on Sunday.

He moved past former Australian captain Ricky Ponting with the achievement.


This was Kohli's 5th double ton in Test career.

After bowling out Sri Lanka for 205 runs in the first innings.

India declared at 610 runs for the loss of six wickets in their first innings.

Apart from Kohli, Murali Vijay (128) , Cheteshwar Pujara (143) and Rohit Sharma (99*) scored centuries for India.

India are 405 runs aheadof Sri Lanka.
