Virat Kohli, Pandya continue their fight as India score 183/5 at stumps
Centurion, Jan 14 (IBNS): Indian batsmen, specially Virat Kohli played sensibly, as the visitors finished the second day's play of the ongoing second Test match against South Africa at 183 for the loss of five wickets here on Sunday.
Kohli (85) and Hardik Pandya (11) finished the day's proceedings with India still trailing South Africa's first innings total of 335 runs by 152 runs.
Kohli smashed eight boundaries as spectators will expect him to smash another century of his career which might change things towards the positive for India.
Pandya, who played a memorable innings in the first Test, will give him company on the other end of the crease as proceedings starts on Monday.
Keshav Maharaj, Morne Morkel, Kagiso Rabada and debutant Lungisani Ngidi picked up a wicket each for South Africa.
India earlier bowled out South Africa for 335 runs.
