World Senior Badminton Championships to be held at Helsingborg in Sweden

Kolkata, Sept 16 (IBNS) Bengal Badminton Academy and South Calcutta District Badminton Association (SCDBA) on Wednesday congratulated Sanjay Ray, Secretary of SCBDA also Trustee of BBA and Hirak Kanti Sengupta Trustee of BBA for being selected to participate in World Senior Badminton Championships to be held at Helsingborg, Sweden from Sept 20-26.
The duo will leave Kolkata for Sweden on September 17.

Ray will participate in Men’s Doubles 45+ event partnering Arvind Gangani of Gujarat. 

Hirak Kanti Sengupta will participate in Men’s Doubles 40+ event partnering Soumen Bhattacharjee of West Bengal.

Both pairs have the unique distinction of being National Champions in their respective events.
