Congress to hold 22 pressers on price rise

New Delhi/UNI: Cornering the government over the issue of inflation, the Congress will hold press conferences at 22 places across the country Monday.

The conferences come ahead of the 'Mehangai Par Halla Bol' rally against inflation here Sept 4.

Party sources said the conferences planned to create public awareness will also invite common men to participate in the rally.

As per the schedule, party's national spokesperson Gourav Vallabh will hold a press conference in Delhi; Alka Lamba in Dehradun; Mahila Congress chief Netta D'Souza in Guwahati; Supriya Shrinate in Lucknow.

Ajoy Kumar in Kolkata; Jitu Patwari in Jaipur; Pawan Khera in Mumbai; Akhilesh Pratap Singh in Kheda, Patna, Abhay Dubey in Shimla, and Ragini Nayak in Raipur.

The other Congress spokespersons will hold press conferences in various state capitals.
