Delhi municipal polls: Notification issued to redraw districts

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi has got the notification to redraw its districts ahead of the civic polls.

The move that's likely to raise the hostilities between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Centre.

The election is likely to be a test of popularity for Arvind Kejriwal's party.

The polling was initially scheduled for March but was later was pushed back after the Centre said it wants to merge the three civic bodies in Delhi.

AAP contended that the BJP was trying to gain more time as it was shaken after after the crushing defeat of the saffron party in Punjab.
