Maharashtra: Woman stabbed to death in Jalgaon

Jalgaon/UNI: A vegetable seller woman was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon at Tuljamata Nagar area of Rameshwar Colony here on Friday.

The victim, Vandana Gorakh Patil (42) was staying in a rented house alone, while her son, Deepak Gorakh Patil lives with his wife in Latur on.

As she failed to step out of her house till 0900 hrs, the neighbours peeped in just to find her body lying in a pool of blood.

The police were informed.

According to the preliminary report, she was stabbed in the abdomen with a sharp weapon.

A case was registered, and further investigation was on, police added.
