Rajinikanth pays tribute to Jayalalithaa at Rajaji Hall

Chennai, Dec 6 (IBNS): Southern superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday paid respect to late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa by reaching Rajaji Hall where her body has been kept wrapped in a tricolour for countless followers and top leaders to pay their tribute before the last journey.

The actor earlier called Jayalalithaa India’s brave daughter.

“Not just Tamil Nadu but the whole of India lost a brave daughter. May her soul rest in peace,” Rajinikanth tweeted soon after the news of her death.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reached Chennai to pay his last respects to J Jayalalithaa.

Jayalalithaa will be cremated at Marina Beach at 4:30 pm on Tuesday.
