COVID-19 spike: Central team visits Aurangabad

Aurangabad/Maharashtra/UNI: Aurangabad district administration has taken appropriate measures to contain the COVID spread, stated the Central team on Sunday.

Appealing the citizens to abide by all government rules, the team--comprising Dr Deepak Bhattacharya and Dr Abhijit Pakhare--expressed satisfaction with the administration's anti-COVID measures.

Speaking during the review meet held at the Collectorate, the team stressed on reducing the death rate.

Oxygen beds should be provided to patients who need them during treatment. For those who do not need an oxygen bed, it is not appropriate to block such a bed, the administration should take action in that regard, they told.

The duo also spoke on Remedsivir Injection, HRCT Testing, Home Isolation, Vaccination, Content Zone, Manpower Capacity Building.

Collector Sunil Chavan informed the team members about the comprehensive pandemic situation in the district.

Zilla Parishad CEO Dr. Mangesh Gondwale, Resident Deputy Collector Sanjeev Jadhav, District Surgeon Dr. Sundar Kulkarni, Municipal Health Officer Dr Nita Padalkar, among others were present.
