Pakistan records 105 fresh COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours

Islamabad: Pakistan is witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases and in the past 24 hours  105 new deaths due to the virus have been reported from the nation, media reports said.

It is the highest figure reported since June.

Out of the 105 patients who died of coronavirus, 70 were on ventilators, reports Geo news.

Tuesday's figures raised the total number of people who have died across the country after testing positive for the novel coronavirus since the start of the pandemic to 9,010 with a mortality rate of 2.27%, the news channel reported.

Pakistan has so far registered 9010 COVID-19 deaths.
