Telangana Governor gets first shot of COVID-19 Vaccine

Hyderabad/UNI: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday received the first dose of COVID-19 Vaccine.

She was given the Covishield vaccine at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital for Women and Children at Puducherry, where she is holding an additional charge as the Lt Governor, a Raj Bhavan communiqué here said.

After inaugurating the exclusive Covid-19 vaccination centre for women at Puducherry, the Lt. Governor got inoculated.

She said that she was feeling proud to take the vaccine produced in our country.

The Governor urged the people to get vaccinated without any hesitancy towards the vaccine.

The Governor's husband and eminent Nephrologist Dr P Soundararajan, advisors to the Lt. Governor and other senior officials were present.
