Winter session of Parliament to begin today, PM Modi hopes full attendance

New Delhi, Dec 15 (IBNS): After delays due to the Gujarat election, the winter session in Parliament will begin finally on Friday.

The winter session of the Parliament will continue till 2018.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, before stepping into the Parliament, said: "I believe all people who spread scandals (Opposition) will attend the session and a proper debate will take place in the House."

"A session need to go rightly for the benefit of the country and to strengthen democracy."

The session is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m..

The Prime Minister presided an all-party meeting on Thursday.
