Shah Rukh Khan took centre stage at the Global Peace Honours 2025 on Saturday, delivering a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Pahalgam terror incident, and the recent Delhi blast.

The event, organised by the Divyaj Foundation and led by Amruta Fadnavis, gathered survivors, families of victims, national leaders, dignitaries, and artists for a powerful evening of remembrance at the Gateway of India.

Addressing the audience, Shah Rukh honoured both civilians and security personnel affected by the attacks.

“My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives… and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks,” he said.

The recent suicide bombing near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed 13 people, was also remembered during the ceremony.

In a moving moment, Shah Rukh recited lines dedicated to India’s soldiers, urging the country to recognise their sacrifices:

“When someone asks what you do, say with pride, ‘I protect the country.’… If they ask, ‘Aren’t you afraid?’ look them in the eye and say, ‘Those who attack us feel it,’” he said.

He called on citizens to rise above divisions of caste and creed, stressing that India’s strength lies in unity:

“If we have peace amongst us, nothing can shake India… nothing can break the spirit of us Indians.”

The ceremony saw a strong turnout of public figures, including Nita Ambani, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Amruta Fadnavis, Tiger Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Vikrant Massey, Kripashankar Singh, Akanksha Malhotra, Archana Kochhar, and more.
