Continuing the dominant show, Argentina defeated Colombia in the final to lift the Copa America title on Sunday.

The final clash was marred since the kick-off was delayed by 80 minutes because of trouble outside the ground in Miami.

In the second half of the extra time, Lautaro Martinez struck from Giovani lo Celso's through ball to ensure Argentina win the title with a 1-0 margin victory.

Skipper Lionel Messi was left teary-eyed when he had to be replaced midway through the second half after injuring himself while chasing for the ball.

Messi was seen celebrating his team's victory, just years after the team won the World Cup under his leadership, when the final whistle was blown.

With ticketless fans attempting to enter the stadium, triggering chaos, which delayed the kick-off.

Fans and police officers and security clashed with several arrests made. Several supporters needed treatment from paramedics, reported BBC.
