Mumbai, Dec 20 (IBNS) In a match that was seen as a contest between two former colleagues- Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar- Atletico de Kolkata defeated Kerala Blasters FC 1-0 to lift the first Indian Super League (ISL) football trophy here on Saturday.

It was Kolkata's Mohammed Rafique who won the trophy for his side as he scored in the 94th minute into the game.

It was a late scorer in the stoppage time which helped Sourav Ganguly-owned franchise lift the inaugural edition of the trophy.

The side had started the ISL campaign on a stronger note and it culminated with the victory.
