Bengal Pro T20 Women's: Kolkata Tigers beat Howrah Warriors by 3 runs

Kolkata/IBNS: Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers (LSKT) won their eves’ match over Adamas Howrah Warriors (AHW) by 3 runs in a close game in Women’s Sobisco Bengal Pro T 20 League match in Kolkata on Thursday.

Winning the toss, Adamas Howrah Warriors elected to field and restricted LSKT to 125 runs in their allotted 20 overs, the LSKT batter Mita Paul scored a brisk 57 of 49 balls holding the innings together along with skipper Mamta Kisku who scored 53 runs.

Sushmita Ganguly picked up 2 wickets while Diya Nandi picked up another wicket.

Replying to the total AHW came close to the target but finished at 122 for 9 with Puja Basak and Prativa Mandi scoring 28 and 24 runs, respectively.

Ananya Haldar and Ariktha Manna picked up 3 wickets each.

Mamta Kisku won the player of the match award.
