Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh launches 120-bed ICU set up in Nizamabad Govt Hospital

Hyderabad/UNI: Former Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Wednesday launched 120-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) set up in Government Hospital, Nizamabad by YouWeCan Foundation.

He launched the 120-bed ICU through virtual mode and Nizamabad District Collector Adinarayana formally inaugurated it.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that besides extending cooperation for COVID-19, the Foundation has aimed to set up 1000 ICU beds in Government Hospitals by spending Rs 2.5 crore.

As part of it, 120-bed ICU were set up in Nizamabad Government hospital, he said.

Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, who also joined the programme virtually, hailed the services of Yuvraj Singh through the YouWeCan Foundation.
