Kolkata, Apr 28 (IBNS) Kolkata's football giant East Bengal ended as runners-up in the I-League following their 3-0 win over United SC at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Monday.

The first half of the match ended goal less.

Abhishek Das (64), Edeh Chidi (84) and substitute Seminlen Doungel (90) netted three to end the tournament on a high note.

The Kolkata club finished second for the third time in four seasons with 43 points from 24 matches.

With 26 points, United SC ended in tenth spot.
