India look to bounce back against Australia today for series win

Chennai/IBNS: India would look to erase the turbulent memory of a crushing 10-wicket defeat in the second One Day International (ODI) against Australia with a bounce back in the last of the three matches at MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Wednesday.

With the series being evenly balanced at 1-1, India are aiming to fix a few setbacks in the batting line up to seal the series win.

India's new batting sensation Suryakumar Yadav, who was in sublime form even a few weeks ago, is presently going through a lean patch.

The attacking right-handed batsman went out for a first-ball duck in both the ODIs against Australia and his average in the last 10 matches is also not something impressive.

According to a report by The Indian Express, India vice-captain and allrounder Hardik Pandya may be promoted to number four, the batting position which belongs to Suryakumar.

Surykumar will then have to wait till the fall of the fourth wicket to come out in the middle.

The third ODI will begin at 1:30 pm.
