IPL: RCB trades Mandeep Singh from Kings XI Punjab

Mumbai, Feb 5 (IBNS): Months before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have traded Mandeep Singh from Kings XI Punjab.

This is the sixth trade prior to the start of the 2015 season of the Pepsi IPL.   

"Mandeep Singh has been a consistent cricketer at the domestic and junior levels, and in the IPL, over the years. He won the Emerging Player Award for his performance in the 2012 season of the tournament," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement on Thursday.

The second trading window before the 2015 season of the Pepsi IPL closes on Feb 6 .

There will be a third trading window immediately after the 2015 Pepsi IPL Player Auction, which will take place on Feb 16.

The following players have been traded prior to the 2015 season:

Iqbal Abdulla – from Rajasthan Royals to Royal Challengers Bangalore
 
Manvinder Bisla – from Kolkata Knight Riders to Royal Challengers Bangalore

Parthiv Patel – from Royal Challengers Bangalore to Mumbai Indians

Unmukt Chand – from Rajasthan Royals to Mumbai Indians

R. Vinay Kumar – from Kolkata Knight Riders to Mumbai Indians

Mandeep Singh – from Kings XI Punjab to Royal Challengers Bangalore
