Rain delays KKR-RR IPL clash in Kolkata

Kolkata, Apr 26 (IBNS): The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in Kolkata's Eden Gardens has been delayed due to rain on Sunday.

Authorities are taking all steps needed to host the match. The city has been experiencing rainfall for the past few days.

"If there is no more rain, the umpires will inspect the field of play at 17:35 Local #KKRvRR #IPL," the official page of the tournament tweeted.

The cricket fraternity earlier paid their tributes to cricketer Ankit Keshri.

The young and talented Bengal cricketer, Ankit Keshri, who had sustained injury during a match, died last Monday.
