T20 World Cup: Bangladesh cricketer Nurul Hasan accuses Virat Kohli of 'fake fielding'
Bangladesh cricketer Nurul Hasan has accused India's star batsman Virat Kohli of "fake fielding" during Wednesday's match in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
In the post-match press conference, Nurul said the five-run penalty would have helped Bangladesh win the contest which they lost by five runs.
"We all saw that it was a wet ground," Nurul said and added, "Eventually, when we talk about these things, there was also a fake throw. It could have been a five-run penalty. That also could have gone our way, but unfortunately, even that didn't materialise."
Fake fielding denotes an action by a player who tries to distract his opponent.
In the viral video, Kohli's action made the batter feel he was throwing the ball at his end. However, the ball was present in another part of the ground.

Chasing the target of 185 set by India, Bangladesh began their run chase aggressively with their opener Litton Das going for an all out attack against the Indian bowlers.
After rain stopped the play, the momentum was broken and Das lost his wicket soon after the contest resumed.
Das was dismissed for a fiery knock of 60 off just 27 balls.
Earlier, Kohli's unbeaten 64 helped India to post 184/6 in 20 overs.
