ABID Kolkata launches Interiors 2018

Kolkata, Feb 24 (IBNS): Association of Architects Builders Interior Designers (ABID) Kolkata on Friday launched Interiors 2018 which will continue till February 27 in the city.

It is a fair which highlights the products and services of the interiors and furniture industry.

Several brands will be seen displaying and demonstrating their products spread over 150 stalls with 80 exhibitors.

This is spread over four hangers and claims to be the largest of its kind in eastern India.

The fair was launched by tabla player Bickram Ghosh, Indian actress Swastika Mukherjee, director Arindam Sil, singers Iman Chakraborty, Lagnajita Chakraborty and director-producer Satrajit Sen.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-President of ABID, Kolkata, Anand Gupta said: “We are very proud to sign an MOU with Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology to initiate a course on Interior Design. This stands as a milestonein the long history of achievement of our organization ABID Kolkata."

"We look forward to nurture this relationship with our knowledge partner and Academics mentor MAKAUT with high expectation and aspiration” he added.

ABID Kolkata also announced the formation of Sankalp – a social initiative taken by ABID along with renowned architect Vivek Rathore and other prominent people of Kolkata.
