Aircel launches 'Extra Credit Service' across India

Kolkata, Nov 27 (IBNS): Mobile service provider Aircel on Thursday announced the pan India availability and roll out of 'Extra Credit Service' with technology partner mCarbon.

Aircel’s Extra Credit Service will provide its users an instant loan of Rs 10 by dialing *414# or IVR dialing 12880 or through SMS LOAN to 55414, which can be availed when their balance drops below Rs 10.

Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel, said, “We truly cherish the relationship with our customers and are delighted to launch this valuable service for them. Sometimes the mobile phones run out of balance amount at crucial times and it causes a lot of inconvenience to the customers."

He added, "With the launch of Aircel’s Extra Credit Service, we aim to ensure that our customers are connected 24X7, even in times of need when they have exhausted their account balance.”

Rajesh Razdan, Co-founder and CEO, mCarbon said, “Aircel extra credit service is revolutionary in adding value to existing prepaid customer experience by providing balance advances to those in need. The service leverages on deep consumer analytics and usage patterns to enhance customer service and drive revenues by generating additional minutes of usage in the network.”

He said, “Allied as technology partner and ensuring seamless micro advances to subscribers in the first phase, we are delighted that Aircel has now launched the service across the country."
