Arun Jaitley meets Singapore PM, discuss strategic partnerships between two countries

Singapore/New Delhi, Nov 16 (IBNS): India's Finance Minister Arun Jaitley called on Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, according to media reports on Thursday.

The two leaders reaffirmed the strategic partnership and discussed opportunities to further grow the strong economic ties, media reported.

Jaitley reached Singapore on Wednesday on a two-day official visit.

On Wednesday, he delivered the keynote address at the  Singapore Fintech Festival.

Delivering the Introductory Address at the Investors’ Round Table Meet in Singapore on Wednesday, Jaitley said that "to provide further impetus to the economy, the present Government has implemented a slew of economy reforms in last three years." the Finance Ministry said in a tweet.

Jaitley also held a bilateral meeting with his Singapore counterpart Heng Swee Keat in Singapore on Wednesday.
