Bajaj Auto July 2021 sales spikes by 44 pc

Mumbai/UNI: Bajaj Auto has reported total sales of 369,116 units in July 2021 as against 255,832 units in July 2020, registering a growth of 44 pc.

The company clocked exports sales of 201,843 units during July 2021, 108 pc higher than 96,856 units in July 2020.

The domestic sales increased 5 pc to 167,273 in July 2021 as against 158,976 units in July 2020.

Commercial Vehicles sales increased 123 pc to 38,547 units in July 2021, as compared to 17,276 in July 2020. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 27,506 units in July 2021, as against 10,774 in July 2020. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased 70 pc in July 2021 to 11,041 units as compared to 6,502 units in July 2020.

The company has sold 330,569 units of two-wheelers during July 2021, as compared to 238,556 in July 2020, an increase of 39 pc . Exports of motorcycles was 103 pc higher at 174,337 in July 2021, as against 86,082 in July 2020. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased just 2 pc to 156,232 units in July 2021 as compared to 152,474 units in July 2020.
