Coal strike called off
New Delhi, Jan 7 (IBNS) With the government and the unions reaching an agreement, the five-day coal workers' strike was called off on Wednesday, media reports said.
The strike was called off on the second day of the strike.
" An agreement was being worked out and a committee has been set up to look into the grievances of the workers," The Hindu Business Line reported quoting government sources.
Five trade unions had called a joint strike.
