Cutty Sark forays into new markets

Kolkata, Aug 12 (IBNS) Edrington Kyndal India Pvt Ltd on Wednesday announced the launch of Cutty Sark in new retail markets namely Goa, Karnataka, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya and Daman and Diu.

The premium blended Scotch Whisky brand debuted in India earlier this year when Kyndal Group, and Edrington formed a 50:50 joint venture - Edrington Kyndal India Pvt Ltd - to bottle, market and distribute Cutty Sark blended Scotch whisky in the Indian market.

Commenting on the development, Siddharth Banerji said “We have received an overwhelming response to bottled in India Cutty Sark, which paved the way for an introduction of the brand to new markets within India. Our constant endeavour to provide our customers with world-class products has enabled us to gain their trust, in India as well as other parts of the world. The Cutty Sark blend will be imported in bulk from Scotland, and bottled at the best-in-class Kyndal facility in Goa.”
