FINER welcomes Union Budget 2019

Guwahati, July 5 (IBNS): The Federation of Industry & Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER), the premier industry association of the North-east has welcomed the Union Budget- 2019, which was presented by the Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday.

FINER president Pabitra Buragohain said that – this budget is giving importance for development sectors as well as some finance fiscal constants are also there.

“Priority for attracting investment including the FDI is there. Connectivity and infrastructure development, encouraging Private and Public Partnership are very welcome move. 2% interest subvention for MSME is definitely going to help the MSME sectors and also pension benefit to the retail traders is a new initiative. For research and development the government has sanctioned National Research Foundation, is a new and novel initiative,” Buragohain said.
