Godrej unveils 2026 AC portfolio, targets 30 pct to 40pct growth this summer

Godrej  Enterprises Group, which unveiled its upgraded and future‑ready air conditioner portfolio for 2026, expects to reach a target of 30% to 40% growth this summer season.

Kamal Nandi, Business Head - Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group, said, “Despite a challenging year for the AC industry which witnessed a decline in overall sales, Godrej ACs achieved significant growth. Backed by our value-driven product portfolio, our transparent 5-year comprehensive AC warranty, and the rapid expansion of our retail footprint, we are targeting 30% to 40% growth this summer season.”

The 2026 summer portfolio spans split ACs, cassette ACs, tower ACs, and window ACs across capacities from 1 Ton to 4 Ton, with a strategic focus on higher‑tonnage models.

The lineup is available in 5‑star and 3‑star energy ratings and puts a strong spotlight on Smart ACs.

In line with its insight-driven, customer‑first approach, the brand has introduced a category‑defining innovation in its smart portfolio, with all‑new ‘Smart Sync Technology’, a first‑of‑its‑kind in the Indian AC market.

With Smart Sync, the Wi‑Fi enabled Godrej ACs can intelligently connect to and control a room fan, ensuring users no longer need to get up at night to switch the fan on or off.

The AC seamlessly auto‑manages the fan for uninterrupted comfort.

In addition to Smart Sync, the IoT-enabled ACs offer easy energy monitoring, filter‑cleaning alerts, pre‑scheduled on/off, smart diagnostics, and more. The portfolio also reinforces Godrej’s design-led philosophy with the new Eon Magnus series, available in gloss black, matte silver, champagne gold, elegant white, and a reflective mirror finish, alongside the sleek grey Eon Nimbus and the monolithic Eon Regalis.

Speaking about the new product lineup, Sabyasachi Gupta, Product Group Head – Air Conditioners at the Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group added, “With heatwaves already recorded in March, the upcoming summer is expected to be equally intense. Our AI-powered ACs deliver both heavy‑duty cooling and energy efficiency, supported by insight‑based features such as Comfort Air Flow for gentler cooling, 4‑way swing for uniform cooling, and a suite of smart‑convenience functionalities."

"With our no-hidden-cost 5-year comprehensive warranty, covering gas refills, technician visits, and remote replacements, along with subsidized installations in select models, affordable EMIs, and zero down payment options, we’re committed to unlocking long-lasting value for our consumers," he said.
