Govt will leave no stone unturned for empowerment of disabled's: Gehlot

New Delhi, June 26 (IBNS): Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot said that his Ministry will leave no stone unturned for the empowerment of PwDs.
He assured that his Ministry will make all possible efforts to support Chhattisgarh from the schemes of DEPwD. 
 
He said this while inaugurating the Composite Regional Centre for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) here on Sunday. 
 
The inaugural function was also attended by the Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Raman Singh, MoS (SJ&E) Krishan Pal Gurjar. 
 
The Rajnandgaon CRC is the first such CRC in Chattisgarh, and overall 11th such CRC in the country functioning under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).

Speaking on the occasion, Raman Singh appreciated the efforts of the Department in making Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) an integral part of the mainstream through their inclusion and empowerment. 
 
He declared that in the coming one year the identification of all PwDs in Chattisgarh will be completed under his government’s co-ordinated efforts with the centre. 
 
Adding that the Rajnandgaon City will soon be provided land in the city he also informed that a mega ADIP Camp will be organized in December to provide Aids and Assistive devices to PwDs, with support of DEPwD.
