IDBI Bank receives National Award for excellence in Micro lending

Mumbai, Nov 3 (IBNS): Ministry of MSME has instituted National Awards for Excellence in MSE Lending to Public Sector Banks in recognition of the performance in financing to Micro and Small Enterprises.

IDBI Bank Ltd has received “First Prize” in excellence in lending to Micro Enterprises from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The award was received by Suresh Khatanhar, Executive Director on behalf of IDBI Bank Ltd in the presence of Union Minister for MSME Kalraj Mishra.

IDBI Bank has been focusing more on MSME segment with various innovative products, corporate tie-ups and BC/BF infrastructure build by the bank.
