Indian benchmark indices end higher on Thursday, Nifty reclaims 10,000 mark

Mumbai, Oct 12 (IBNS): A rally late in the day on Thursday boosted the Indian market to a higher close, and the NSE Nifty reclaiming its 10,000 mark, according to media reports.

BSE Sensex was up 348.23 points at 32,182.22 and the 50-share NSE Nifty was up 111.60 points at 10,096.40.

Top gainers included Reliance, Hindalco, Bharti Infratel, Sun Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, TCS, Axis Bank and HUL while Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, UPL, Coal India, Infoysys, BHEL, Power Grid Corp and Asian Paints declined.
