Indian market: Sensex down 215 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped by 215 pts to 50,630.65 as selling was seen across the board.

The Nifty fell by 78.45 pts to 15,002.30.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50,886.19 and 50,311.47 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,092.35 and 14,929.25 respectively.

In 30 scrips 14 advanced while 16 declined.

The losers were Indusind Bank by 4.40 pc to Rs 1044, SBI by 3.15 pc to Rs 383.35, ICICI Bank by 1.82 pc to Rs 609.60 and Bajaj Finserv by 1.44 pc to Rs 9972.20.

The gainers were ONGC by 2.13 pc to Rs 115.10, Maruti Suzuki by 1.16 pc to Rs 7316.50, Titan by 1.10 pc to t 1486.50 and Ultracemco by 1.08 pc to Rs 6849.90.
