Indian Rupee up 13 paise against USD

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday gained by thirteen paise to 70.88 on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
 

In opening trade, the local unit eased by 3 paise to 71.04.

 

Later, it erased earlier losses and finished positive at 70.88, advancing by 13 paise as compared to its last close.


The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.06 and 70.88 respectively.

 

The Rupee bounced back on weak Dollar against other world currencies along with positive equity market, the dealer added.


The Forex Market will remain closed on Monday for 'Diwali' festival, the dealers informed.
