India's industrial output drops 0.8 percent in April
New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS): India's industrial output dropped by 0.8 percent in April as compared to the level in the same month last year, government data released on Friday said.
"The General Index for the month of April 2016 stands at 176.4, which is 0.8 percent lower as compared to the level in the month of April 2015," read a government statement.
"The cumulative growth for the period April-March 2015-16 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at 2.4 percent," it said.
