India's June industrial output moves up by 7%
New Delhi, Aug 10 (IBNS): India's industrial output accelerated in June and finished at 7 percent higher as compared to the level in the month of June 2017, as per the government data released on Friday.
As per the data released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) with base 2011-12 for the month of June 2018 stands at 127.7.
"The cumulative growth for the period April-June 2018 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at 5.2 percent," read the government statement.
