Hyderabad, Nov 26 (IBNS): On International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Infosys Hyderabad in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council hosted a session to create awareness on the issue.
In the session, Self-Awareness & Self Defense were the key themes of discussion and the program included detailed instructions on safety followed by live demonstrations, which resonated well with the participating employees.

The chief guest at the occasion, Ramesh Kumar J, Circle Inspector of the IT Corridor, Cyberabad, addressed the gathering and cited real-life examples on how lack of knowledge on self-awareness and self-defense can impact women and their safety.

Infosys Hyderabad also shared details of various security forums that can be reached out to during an emergency and guided participants to install the Hawk Eye App on their smartphones. This app was launched by the Hyderabad Police last year.

The session came to a close with an update on various initiatives and workshops that are being planned at Infosys Hyderabad around self-awareness and self-defense.
