Mega deals: Jain community drives home 190 luxury cars with Rs. 21 crore discount

A mega deal reached by the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) has caught attention after community members bought 190 luxury cars, ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore, in a bulk deal and even registered discounts worth a whopping Rs 21 crore.

Some sections of the media reports said the community bought 186 luxury cars.

The massive discounts were reached while the community members, known for their business legacy in India, bought high-value cars like Audi, BMW, and Mercedes.

The cars were bought during a nationwide drive, but most of the buyers hailed from Gujarat's Ahmedabad city.

Sources told India Today that 30 of the 190 cars were purchased by members of the trade organisation living in Gujarat.

Talking about the latest deal, Nitin Jain, the chairman of J Point, told the Indian news channel, "In the past few months, our members bought 190 BMW, Audi, and Mercedes cars, ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore in bulk deals. We received a staggering discount of Rs 21.5 crore as those were bought in bulk deals."

Prakshal Shah, the Co-Convenor of the organisation, told the news channel, "At present, our organisation boasts of 30,000 members across the nation, out of which 5,000 come from Gujarat. We use community buying so that our members can trade and purchase their products as per their needs. At this moment, we are in discussions for bulk deals on more than 15 products."
