Microsoft stops providing security patches for Windows 8
New Delhi, Jan 13 (IBNS) Tech giant Microsoft will stop providing security aides for Windows 8 and other older variants, starting from Wednesday, according to reports.
The move is seen as a push towards their recent release Windows 10.
The company is suggesting users to move to the latest variant to get better security.
Microsoft is also scrapping older versions of Internet Explorer today.
Bearing the burnt is IE 8,9 and 10.
