Nifty remains above 7900 mark on Wednesday
Mumbai, Apr 20 (IBNS) While the 50-share NSE Nifty was able to remain above the 7900 psychological mark on Wednesday and closed at 7914.75, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 27 points to close at 25844.18.
A fall in oil prices limited the rise in Asian equities, the European market also put in a weak show.
Some of stocks that were gainers on Wednesday were Tata Steel, Axis Bank, and GAIL.
Some of the major losers included TCS, Reliance, Maruti, Sun Pharma and M&M.
