Panasonic launches the superfast Eluga Ray 800 equipped with a 1.8GHz Octa-core processor

Kolkata, Mar 5 (IBNS): Electronics goods producing major Panasonic on Tuesday announced the launch of yet another addition to its performance packed smartphone portfolio – The Eluga Ray 800.

Heavy on design and aesthetics, the Eluga Ray 800 has a metallic body, powerful 1.8GHz Octa core processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB and 4000 mAh battery, making the device is a performance powerhouse, that not only provides the users with optimum speed but also storage space.

The Eluga Ray 800 has a 5.5” full HD display screen coated with a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. 

The new smartphone is priced at INR 9,999 and is available across all e-commerce platforms and leading retail outlets

The smartphone boasts of an integrated 13MP Auto Focus (AF) rear camera and an 8MP front camera supported with a flash that allow users to take brilliant selfies. The AI enabled camera detects face and smile and ensures that the user does not miss the moments that are worth-a-capture.

The interval mode in the camera allows users to click multiple photos in one go and select the best shot.  The Eluga Ray 800 is powered by Android 7.0 OS, which helps one to multitask. Rich in features such as the Multi-window function, it enables the user to watch a video and chat at the same time.

Equipped with Arbo Hub, the virtual assistant, the phone integrates artificial intelligence to track and pick-up the user’s daily activity patterns, and prompts the user to do things as per the schedule. This makes daily tasks super easy and fun.

The new smartphone is a confluence of style and class making the smartphone appear sleek. The device also has Panasonic’s trademark AI assistant called Arbo Hub - the ‘Go-to’ app for all the user needs. This allows the users to keep their smartphones kempt by replacing multiple apps with one.

Extending supreme security to the users, the device comes with the multi-purpose finger print senor that unlocks only with the touch of the owner. For connectivity, the device has a dual SIM (Non-Hybrid) – 2G / 2.5G / 3G / 4G - LTE configuration, direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 4G VoLTE enabled phone is available in the stunning gold colour.
