Hannover, Apr 16 (IBNS): Rajasthan Industries Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar has delivered the keynote speech on Manufacturing in India at an event organised by Indus Media here.
The event was held in Hannover Messe where the Minister is leading a delegation from the Government of Rajasthan and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), to attract investments into the state.

Khimsar is in Germany as part of a global road-show for the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit to be held on November 19-20 this year in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Khimsar said, “Rajasthan has emerged as a destination of choice for many domestic and multinational companies and the state government’s bold policy initiatives have begun to yield commendable results.”

He noted that country-specific industrial zones were unique to Rajasthan and the ones created for Japan and Korea had laid the foundation for a vibrant business ecosystem in the state.

He said that it was paramount that the government took into account the needs of investors when formulating its industrial policies.

He stated that the Rajasthan Government was in alignment with the Centre’s “Make in India” initiative and sectors such as renewable energy, defence and Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) had been identified as sunrise sectors in the state.

He also noted that the Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, had announced capital investment and employment generation subsidies to help incubate new industrial units.
