Rana Virender assumes charge as Chairman Punjab State Cooperative Bank

State Cooperative BankChandigarh/UNI: Rana Virender Singh assumed charge as the Chairman Punjab State Cooperative Bank in presence of the Assembly Speaker Rana KP Singh, Cabinet Ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Manpreet Singh Badal and Sadhu Singh Dharamsot here on Friday.

While extending congratulations to the New Chairman, Speaker Rana K P Singh and Randhawa expressed hope that Rana Virender Singh would ensure that the Punjab State Cooperative Bank emerges as the bridge between the farming sector of the state and the government.

 Randhawa also said that the bank is launching numerous new schemes and services to expand the business of the bank and expressed confidence that the New Chairman would take the bank to newer heights.

In his address, Rana Virender Singh while thanking the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said that he would fulfill the assigned responsibility with full dedication and would undertake novel initiatives aimed at the welfare of the farming community with special focus on rural sphere.


Among other dignitaries present on the occasion included MLAs Chaudhary Darshan Lal, Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Kulbir Singh Zira, Gurpreet Singh GP, Lakhbir Singh Lakha and Davinder Singh Ghubaya, former minister Jagmohan Singh Kang, senior advocates/serving and retired bureaucrats/police officers, PCC Members, leading Congress and social leaders.
