Rays Power Experts bags Rs 300 crore project from NHPC in Tamil Nadu

New Delhi / Kolkata, Oct 30 (IBNS): Rays Power Experts, a solar power project company, on Friday bagged a Rs. 300 crore order from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) limited, a Government of India Enterprise.

As part of this order, Rays Power will implement the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) Contract for development of 50MW solar power project in the State of Tamil Nadu.

The project will commence by the end of October 2015 at Sattur in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu. Rays Power will be responsible for designing, engineering, civil work, Installation process, testing and commissioning of the 50MW Solar Power project.

Commenting on the order win, Rahul Gupta, Director, Rays Power Experts said, “We are delighted to win this tender and we will surely deliver quality service within the stipulated timeframe. With this order win, we will be entering Tamil Nadu, which holds tremendous potential for solar power and we believe that we will establish a strong footprint here like other states.”

The company recently bagged a 12MW solar power project in Madhya Pradesh.
